FCA Surf has been running surf camps for the public for over twenty years at the 59th street beach and lifeguards monitor most of the beaches where we surf each day on soft and safe surfboards.   

FCA Surf camps run for 8 weeks, five days a week (Monday through Friday),  throughout the summer from 8am to 12pm, for $345.  Surf camps are available for beginner and intermediate surfers ages 8 to 16 years of age who are capable swimmers.  Campers are provided with surfboards and a rash guard for use during the camp week as well as a gear bag, FCA Surf t-shirt, sticker, and other resources to keep.

The beginner week is focused on campers who are new to the sport of surfing with little to no experience. Smaller camp numbers allow for smaller instructor to camper ratios and the dedicated time needed to teach the essential and basic skills of surfing. A shorter day ending at 11am keeps the campers energetic and ready to return the next day. The cost of the beginner week is $275 per camper.

During surf camp, campers will not just learn to surf, but also learn about the ocean and the God who created it.  We teach overall ocean safety and surfing techniques and etiquette in a fun environment.

Fun is had in and out of the water with students learning much more than how to surf.  Camp coaches run contests and games that change day to day and week to week. Signups for this life-impacting camp opens February 1st.
